Winchester is a city in and the county seat of Franklin County, located in southeast Tennessee. The city covers a total of 11.71 square miles and has a population of 8,706. The population is part of the Tullahoma, Tennessee Micropolitan Statistical Area. Winchester was incorporated in 1821. There are currently 34 registered sex offenders residing in the city.
