Oak Ridge is a city in eastern Tennessee. The city occupies a southern portion of Anderson County, and an eastern portion of Roane County. Oak Ridge covers 89.95 square miles and has a population of 29,037. The population is part of the Knoxville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city was incorporated in 1962.
