Troy is a town in Obion County, located in north west Tennessee. The county seat of Obion County is Union City. Troy covers a total of 1.351 square miles and has a population of 1,703. The population is part of the Union City, TN-KY Micropolitan Statistical Area. The town was incorporated in 1901. There are currently 11 registered sex offenders residing in Troy.
