Rocky Top is a city in both Anderson and Campbell Counties, located in eastern Tennessee. Most of the city is in Anderson County.The county seat of Anderson is Clinton. The county seat of Campbell is Jacksboro. Rocky Top covers a total of 1.54 square miles and has a population of 2,283. The population is included in the Knoxville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city was incorporated in 1939. There are currently 13 registered sex offenders residing in the city.
