Englewood is a town located in eastern Tennessee. The town is in McMinn County. The county seat of McMinn is Athens. Englewood covers a total of 1.911 square miles and has a population of 1,790. There are approximately 670 households in the town. Englewood was incorporated in 1919.

Englewood has a city commission as their form of local government. There are 3 commissioners, a town manager, a vice-mayor and a mayor. The current mayor is Tony Hawn. Hawn was elected mayor in August of 2020.
