All inmates are awaiting trial or serving their sentence. The jail offers programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous and church services to the inmates. The jail has a capacity of 462 inmates.

Commissary deposits can be made to an inmate’s account onsite or online. To make a deposit onsite, visit the kiosk in the jail lobby. The Wilson County Jail utilizes a 3rd party provider called JailFunds for commissary services. To make a deposit online, visit the JailFunds website.

Visitation Hours

Inmates are allowed visitation via video recording. The Wilson County Jail uses a 3rd party provider called GTL Visit Me. The video visitation can be conducted onsite or from home. Each inmate is offered specific visitation dates and times based on availability. To schedule a visit, go to the GTL Visit Me website.

The Wilson County Jail updates their inmate roster every 24 hours. The roster lists the inmate name, mugshot, charges and link to their visitation.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office has a most wanted list. The list is provided to the public and shows the fugitive’s name, mugshot and charges. All fugitives on the list are considered armed and dangerous and the office requests the public call 911 if they are seen immediately.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for serving criminal and civil warrants. The office does not currently have a public warrant search. For information on persons with warrants, contact the jail.
