How to Send Mail to Inmates
Inmates are allowed to receive mail. All mail is searched for contraband.

Inmates are allowed to receive packages, onsite, within the first 10 days of their incarceration. Identification is required to drop off packages.
Packages can include:
5 pairs of white underwear
5 pairs of white socks
1 white mesh laundry bag
3 white sports bras
10 envelopes
10 stamps
10 pieces of loose notebook paper
1 softcover Bible
All items must be new, in their original packaging.
Commissary can be added to an inmate’s account via a 3rd party company called VendEngine. Deposits can be made in person using the kiosk in the lobby or online.

The Franklin County Jail updates their inmate roster every 24 hours. All inmates in the facility are listed in alphabetical order by last name. The inmate’s race, sex, date of birth, mugshot and arrest date are listed on the roster. The public can also see the inmate’s charges and bond information.
