The Sevier County Corrections is a minimum to maximum security facility which houses adult inmates who have been charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes. All inmates are awaiting trial or serving their sentence. There are 2 correctional facilities within the county with a total inmate capacity of 570.

How to Send Mail to an Inmate

Inmates are allowed to receive mail sent through the U.S. Postal Service. Letters must be written on white paper with blue or black ink only. All mail will be searched for contraband.

Commissary deposits can be made to an inmate’s account in person, over the phone or by mail. To make a deposit in person, visit the kiosk in the jail’s lobby. To make a deposit over the phone, call 1-855-836-3364 and use facility code #22 when prompted. Money orders and cashiers checks are the only type of currency that can be sent by mail. Visitation Hours

All inmates housed in the Sevier County Jail are allowed a 1 hour visit per week. All visits are assigned to inmates based on their housing pod.

The Sevier County Jail updates their inmate roster every 24 hours. The roster lists inmates in alphabetical order by last name. The inmate’s name, age, booking date, mugshot, charges, bond and court information is made accessible on the roster.

The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office has a most wanted list. The list makes the fugitive’s name, mugshot and charges public knowledge. If the public has any knowledge of a wanted fugitive, contact the Sheriff’s Office.

The warrants division of the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office issues all felony and misdemeanor warrants that are filed with the Sheriff’s Office. There is not a public warrant search for their office at this time.
