How to Send Mail to an Inmate
Inmates are allowed to receive mail. All mail will be searched for contraband.

Inmates can also receive packages. Packages must be dropped off in person and searched before being given to the inmate.
Packages can contain:
3 White t shirts
3 pairs of white socks
3 pairs of white underwear
1 white towel
1 white washcloth
1 set of white thermals
Commissary can be deposited on an inmate’s account over the phone, online or by using the kiosk in the jail lobby. To add money over the phone, call 1-866-394-0490. Money can be added online using the Access Corrections website. The kiosk in the lobby is available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and requires a driver’s license or an identification card. To add money over the phone or online, the facility code, location code and booking number is needed. The Fentress County Jail facility code is 2A2. The Fentress County Jail location code is 5500.
Visitation Hours
Inmate visitation is available in person or online. Online visits are through a 3rd party called iWeb Visit. In person and online visits have the same visiting hours available and the same rules. Visitors must show a state-issued ID card and must be at least 18 years old. In person visits are first come, first served.
Monday and Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
