Inmates are allowed to receive mail sent through the U.S. Postal Service. All mail will be searched for contraband.

Commissary deposits can be made in person, online or by mail. To make a deposit in person, visit the drop box in the front of the jail. Money orders and cashiers checks are accepted and must be filled out appropriately. To make a deposit online, use the 3rd party provider JailFunds. Visitation Hours
Inmates are allowed visits with up to 4 approved visitors. The inmate must submit a visitor request form with the expected visitors’ information on it. A background check will be conducted on the visitors. Visiting hours are based on the pod in which the inmate is housed. The inmate must schedule the visit.
The Washington County Jail releases a weekly intake report. The report lists who has been arrested that week in the county. The inmate’s name, mugshot and charges are reported.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office lists their most wanted fugitives on their website. The fugitive’s full name, aliases, mugshot, physical description and charges will be listed. The department asks the public to report any knowledge of the fugitives’ to 911 immediately.
