Morgan County Correctional Complex (MCCX) is a maximum-security prison in unincorporated Morgan County, near Wartburg, Tennessee, operated by the Tennessee Department of Correction. Opened in 1980, the prison includes 500,000 square feet and sits on 65 acres and is designed as medium security, with 120 beds designated for maximum security. An expansion completed in 2009 increased its capacity to 2,500 prisoners.
